Owner Joe Frizell has worked on all things mechanical since 1970, from metal fabrication to complete auto restorations. His automotive experience began with rotary-engined Mazda RX2s and spans to modern day hybrids and bio-diesel conversions. He raised his family in Sag Harbor, and spends whatever free time he has left sailing or playing the guitar.

Ed Schultz III picked up wrenches in 1972, working at various dealerships in the northeast. Ed took a turn as a VW parts specialist for many years, and returned to the front line of repairs. New York State and ASE-certified, he joined Joe’s Garage in 2009. His hobbies are fishing and boating, and he has a wife and three children.

Robert has been a mechanic since 1975, working on vehicles great and small. He’s worked at Joe's Garage since 1999, and is both New York State and ASE-certified. In his spare time, he is either riding his motorcycle or shark fishing off Montauk. He has a wife, 3 children and a bunch of grandchildren.

Zbigniew emigrated from Poland in 1988 to continue his automotive and mechanical studies. After working 12 years at a Volvo dealership, he joined Joe's Garage in 2009 as our resident Volvo specialist. New York State and ASE-certified, he is married with one daughter.
